Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

Only an individual whose body’s parameters such as humors ( doshas ), digestive fire ( agni ), tissues ( dhatu ), physiological functions of excretions ( malakriyaha ) are in a state of equilibrium and whose soul ( aatma ), senses ( indriya ) and mind ( mana ) are in a pleasant state, is considered healthy.

Health is the state of any living organism when it functions and feels normal or better. In this state, a person experiences good sleep, good digestion, normal appetite, normal breathing, normal pulse, good quantity of pure blood, strong nerves, calm mind, free bowel movements, normal urine and sparkling eyes with shining face.

Wellness is functioning optimally within your current environment.

Wellness is an active process through which people become aware of and make choices towards a more successful existence. It is a conscious, self directed and evolving process for achieving full potential. It is multidimensional and holistic and encompasses complete well being.
